Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the North Tongu member of parliament, has enumerated the quantity of state assets that he has been able to preserve through his fight against state capture.

The former Deputy Education Minister enumerated 12 ways in which his campaign has preserved the nation’s savings in a post posted via X.

Assets we have so far saved:

  1. Land belonging to the Nigerian High Commission after a midnight demolition operation by faceless elements;
  2. Land belonging to the Bulgarian Embassy after another clandestine demolition by top Akufo-Addo/Bawumia political appointees;
  3. Parks and Gardens Land in Cantonments;
  4. Parks and Gardens Land in Wa;
  5. Airport Lands under the Heaven Scandal;
  6. Scuttled attempts to demolish the Accra International Conference Centre;
  7. Labadi Beach Hotel;
  8. La Palm Royal Resort;
  9. Elmina Beach Hotel;
  10. Ridge Royal Hotel;
  11. Busua Beach Hotel;
  12. Trust Lodge.

This is only the start; may these small victories encourage us to keep going until we have recaptured the remainder.

We can, in fact, overcome state capture.
