14 construction workers in critical condition after Roman Ridge building collapse

A building has collapsed at the premises of Architectural Engineering Group in Roman Ridge, Accra.
According to the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), a rescue operation is currently underway, with reports confirming that people are trapped inside the structure.
A Rescue Team from the GNFS Headquarters is on-site. In an official statement, the Service confirmed that “Rescue Team from GNFS Headquarters are putting up their best to rescue the victims.”
The GNFS has reported that approximately 14 construction workers have been successfully extracted from the rubble. All rescued individuals are said to be in critical condition.
The victims have been transported to the 37 Military Hospital and the Ridge Hospital to receive urgent medical care.
