According to reports, Kadevi Selasy, the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) communication officer for the Awutu Senya West constituency, was discovered dead in Nkwadum, an Awutu Bontrase neighborhood in the Central Region.
According to Accra-based Kasapa News, on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, Mr. Selasy was discovered hanging.
This came after he had twice on Wednesday morning called his wife to go with him to relieve himself.
The wife is reported to have complied the first time, but on the second occasion, she reportedly refused his request; as a result, Kadevi departed by himself but did not show up again for some time.
When his worried wife went to seek for him, she discovered that he had passed away.
The Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital Mortuary has received the body for autopsy and preservation.
To ascertain the circumstances behind his unexpected death, the Police have also started their inquiry.
