Today marked a significant milestone for the North East Region. The atmosphere was filled with hope and excitement as crowds of constituents gathered to show their support and escort him to his office.

In his first address, Minister Tia emphasized the importance of agriculture, pledging to take serious steps towards improving the sector, which is vital for the region’s economy and food security.

“Agriculture is the backbone of our community, and I am dedicated to ensuring that it receives the attention and resources it deserves, if Burkina Faso can produce tomatoes, we can equally do same in North East Region, We can as well go into rice farming and North East alone can produce rice to feed the whole of Ghana,” he stated.

Addressing concerns about security, particularly along the Bolga-Walewale highway and other notorious crime hotspots, Minister Tia assured the public of his commitment to collaborate with the Upper East Regional Minister. Together, they will implement strategies to strengthen security measures and reduce crime rates, ensuring the safety of all residents.

The Minister expressed his dedication to the youth of the North East region. “I understand the challenges faced by our young people, and I promise to work tirelessly to create job opportunities that empower them and foster economic growth. Together, we will build a brighter future for our region,” he affirmed.

As Minister Tia embarks on this new journey, his focus on agriculture, security, and youth employment resonates with the aspirations of the people, igniting hope for a prosperous and secure North East Region.
