Ahead of the January 2026 presidential primaries of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), 63 Members of Parliament have declared their support for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
The MPs who made this known at a press conference early today said they believe in the leadership of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
They indicate that they will commit to the former vice president and support his bid to lead the NPP on a transformative journey to capture power.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) will go to the polls on January 31, 2025, to elect a flagbearer for the 2026 presidential primaries.
Five leading members of the party have put themselves up to be elected for the flagbearer position.
