The Big Push initiative successfully attracted attention to Kintampo South due to effective lobbying-Hon. Felicia Agyei (MP)

As part of the Big Push initiative, Member of Parliament for Kintampo South, Hon. Felicia Agyei, along with the district assembly, has broken ground for a 19-kilometer inner roads project in Jema township, Jema Nkwanta, and Apaaso within the constituency today 11th, November,2025.

The groundbreaking ceremony should include a diverse group of citizens from the constituency witnessing this major road development for the first time.

During interactions with the Member of Parliament, Hon. Felicia Agyei emphasized that the project didn’t come easily but was achieved through hard work and effective lobbying, resulting in a 19-kilometer tidal road that connects communities to the urban center of the constituency.

Hon. Felicia Agyei also expressed gratitude to the President, HE John Dramani Mahama, and his wife for consistently supporting Kintampo South with development projects such as schools, water, telephony, electricity, and road networks, all within 11 months of her administration.

With applause and a smile, Nana Amponsah Gyan II, the Kyidomhene of Nkoranza Traditional Area, who also serves as Jema Hene, along with his elders, praised the NDC government for remembering Kintampo South with numerous projects that will boost business opportunities for farmers in smaller communities, thanks to improved road networks.

According to Nana Amponsah, the president is only their in-law, but they regard him as a nation builder, and Kintampo South has received its fair share of national development and still calls more of such products .
