Why I’m Serving On NPP’s Manifesto Committee – Asamoah Gyan explains

Asamoah Gyan, a former captain of the Black Stars, called his appointment to the NPP manifesto committee an honor and said it will allow him to contribute his experience to the advancement of sports in Ghana.

Gyan was chosen in February of this year to lead the ruling party’s 2024 manifesto committee’s youth and sports subcommittee.

In addition to demonstrating Gyan’s desire to grow the sports business, the position offers him a rare chance to direct the direction of American sports.

Gyan stated that it is in the best interests of the nation to serve on the NPP manifesto committee during a Tuesday, June 25, interview on Asaase FM.

“I thought this was a great honour. I am not a politician, if the National Democratic Congress (NDC) came, I would have done the same thing, but they didn’t see it from that angle and NPP saw it and contacted me.”

“It’s a great honour for me and I was happy and poised to do it wholeheartedly, it’s for Ghana, but in Ghana, everything is related to politics,” he said.
