Alexander Afenyo-Markin, the majority leader and Effutu member of parliament, has been named by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the new board chairman of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).
This was written in a letter that Ambassador Nana Asante Bediatuo, the president’s secretary, signed.
Herbert Krapa, who is currently the Minister of State in the Energy Ministry, is replaced by the Majority Leader. Keli Gadzekpo, who resigned on March 26, was succeeded by Mr. Krapa.
