National Earth Moving Equipment Launched today is in the right direction since it is we who approved the Common Fund for its payment.
As part of our oversight as Members of Parliament (NDC and NPP MPs), an invitation to us all is in the right Direction.
I did not only honour the invitation, but interacted with the suppliers to pick and lobby for pieces of information.
It is refreshing to know from them, the equipments would be serviced for 2years each for the Assemblies.
Am also happy Governance is a continuity of policies.
The difference is that, under NDC, the MMDAs were made to enter their own agreements with the companies that manufactures these equipments. Under the current government, procurement was done at a central pool but funded by same Common Fund.
Another difference is that , there was no funfair during equipment unveiling under the erstwhile NDC government unlike as we are witnessing now.
Policy continuity is the way to go as being seen today.
All persons who are in the MMDAs enclaves who have fuel, in consultation with the Assemblies, fuel them for use for improvement of our feeder roads.
