I’m ready to appear before the appointment committee again – Okudzato Ablakwa

The Minister-designate for Foreign Affairs and Member of Parliament for North Tongu Constituency Hon Samuel Okudzato Ablakwa has stated that he is ready to appear before the appointment committee again.
Last Friday, the minister-designate appeared before the appointment committee for vetting by his colleagues in Parliament.
After over five(5) hours of grilling, the minority members of the committee staged a walkout under the pretence that the Speaker of Parliament had earlier communicated that the committee needed to be reconstituted.
The chairman of the committee and the majority leader tried to reason with the minority leader who happens to be the ranking member on the committee.
Hon Okudzato Ablakwa in a new post on social media has stated that he is ready to face them again if they want him to.
According to him, the NPP had every chance at him when he appeared to be vetted but they chose to run away.
He added that they also had eight(8) years to prosecute him if he had done anything bad but they couldn’t but they are now holding press conferences and making wild allegations.
