Your recommendations will not gather dust – Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang assures

Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to implementing the recommendations from the National Education Forum, assuring stakeholders that their contributions will not be ignored.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the forum, she emphasized that the government intends to use the outcomes of the discussions to shape Ghana’s educational policies.

“I wish to assure you that your recommendations will not gather dust on the shelf,” she declared.

The Vice President stressed that the forum was not just another routine exercise but a pivotal step toward building an inclusive and transformative education system that benefits all Ghanaians.

“Your report will be the foundation upon which our educational policies would be shaped and implemented to build an inclusive, equitable, and transformative education system for Ghana and for the benefit of all Ghanaians,” she stated.

Professor Opoku-Agyemang urged participants to trust in the government’s resolve to act on their insights, highlighting the importance of collaborative efforts in strengthening the education sector.

The National Education Forum brought together key stakeholders, including policymakers, educators, and development partners, to deliberate on reforms aimed at enhancing the country’s education system.
