Akufo-Addo’s gov’t treated Ghanaians badly—Adwoa Safo

Former Gender and Social Protection Minister, Sara Adwoa Safo has indicated that the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo government was wicked to the people of Ghana.
According to him, although persons within the party always prompted the government with the challenges, they were seen as against the government and were targeted.
She believes if they were listened to and not victimized, the New Patriotic Party would still be in power after the 2024 elections.
To Adwoa Safo, no one can blame Dr Mahamudu Bawumia for the NPP’s defeat in the 2024 elections because they are aware that he was just a victim of circumstances that were beyond his control.
“We know the bad treatment we gave to Ghanaians as a party. People were talking, and they were not listening. MPs complained, and their constituencies were targeted, and they were removed because they were against the government, but they were speaking the truth,” she stated on Accra-based Asempa FM.
