Vice President Naana Jane sworn in as Chairperson of the Ghana Armed Forces Council

Ghana’s Vice President, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has been sworn in as the first female Chairperson of the Ghana Armed Forces Council.

She was sworn in together with other members of the Council at a ceremony which took place on Monday, March 24 at the Presidency.

Other members who were also sworn in include Edward Kofi Omane Boamah, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Mubarak Mohammed Muntaka, Daniel Addo, Fuseini Iddrisu, and Nancy Dakwa Ampofo.

The Ghana Armed Forces Council is a body tasked with overseeing military operations and providing strategic advisory support.
