Attempts by gov’t to trivialize drug trafficking and money laundering issues won’t be condoned – NPP warns

The opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has condemned government’s intimidation of the minority in parliament over their recent allegations of drug trafficking and money laundering in Ghana.
A statement from the opposition political party indicated that they have reservations about the government’s story on the two flights which were in Ghana.
They are therefore demanding an update on the two major drug busts in Cape Coast and Sekondi because the explanation offered by Felix Ofosu Kwakye did not provide any better explanation and update on the issue.
To the NPP, attempts to trivialize the issue will not be condoned because it is a matter of international interest adding that they will not relent in holding duty bearers accountable.
