Popular artiste manager and entertainment pundit, Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, widely known as Bullgod, stirred conversations on the April 12 edition of United Showbiz after opening up about his unique spiritual practices — particularly his visits to the cemetery to commune with his late mother.
“I like going to the cemetery a lot. My mom lives there. She has a three-bedroom house there. If someone offends me, I go to report them to her.
“I’ve taken people there already,” Bullgod revealed, drawing both surprise and curiosity from viewers.
According to him, these visits are not mere symbolic gestures but deliberate spiritual engagements. “Once you have someone close to you in the spiritual realm, it is a serious bargain.
“Once you get someone that can represent you there, anything you take there will be immediately sorted,” he explained.
He expressed strong faith in the influence of his late mother in the spiritual world, stating, “So far, she’s done perfectly, because she is closer to God.”
Bullgod didn’t shy away from voicing his controversial perception of God either. “How do you people see God? God is a bad guy.
“God is wicked. Before Jesus came to stand in for humans, what was God doing? Once you make a mistake, He punishes you. God did not tolerate nonsense. Jesus is the one currently placating him. So, don’t misunderstand God.”
His comments veered into industry-related stories as well, referencing gospel musician Cwesi Oteng.
“I don’t know who Cwesi Oteng went to offend that someone took his album to a cemetery, but I think he came out fine,” Bullgod remarked, suggesting that spiritual interventions — both positive and malicious — are more common in the gospel music industry than many care to admit.
“But such things happen. People report others to the cemetery. They even do it in the gospel music industry more than the secular,” he added.
