In a social media post, the Akyem Swedru Member of Parliament believes that if this attempt is successful, it will dwarf the Judiciary and destroy it for good.
He believes this attempt should not be made to see the light of day if the country wants a strong Judiciary.
His post read, “The Judiciary must know that any attempts by anyone to remove the Chief Justice is an attack on the judiciary and if this attempt succeeds the entire judiciary will be completely divided and destroyed. History shows that all attempts by previous governments to remove previous Chief Justices of the Supreme Court were all not successful and we should not allow the current attempts to succeed”.
