Olusegun Obasanjo to lead talks on hunger and poverty at Dele Momodu’s 2025 lecture

Renowned Nigerian entrepreneur and publisher, Chief Dele Momodu, is set to host a groundbreaking public lecture on May 16, 2025, with a bold mission—confronting the persistent issues of hunger and poverty that continue to plague the African continent.

Speaking about the upcoming event, Chief Momodu emphasized the urgent need for collective action, stating, “Whether you’re from Ghana, Nigeria, or any other African nation, our biggest challenge remains the same—how do we rescue Africa from the grip of poverty and hunger?”

Dubbed the Dele Momodu Leadership Lecture, the event will bring together prominent African leaders and thinkers to explore practical solutions to these enduring challenges.

Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo is expected to deliver the keynote address. Chief Momodu described him as “uniquely positioned to speak on this issue with the clarity and authority it demands.”
