Pope Francis’ cause of death finally revealed

The Vatican has confirmed that Pope Francis passed away from a stroke followed by irreversible cardiovascular arrest.

According to the official death certificate released by Dr. Andrea Arcangeli, the Vatican’s chief doctor, Pope Francis also fell into a coma before his death.

The document further revealed that the Pope had been battling several health issues in recent months, including a lung infection, high blood pressure, and diabetes.

Despite these ongoing medical challenges, Pope Francis had continued his public duties, making a significant appearance during the Easter Mass at Saint Peter’s Square, where he blessed the faithful.

His passing has taken many by surprise, especially given his recent public visibility.

Pope Francis, who ascended to the papacy in 2013, leaves behind a profound legacy marked by compassion, social justice, and a focus on interfaith dialogue.

Throughout his tenure, he advocated for the marginalized, the poor, and the environment, earning global recognition for his efforts to address critical issues such as climate change, refugee crises, and human rights.

By his wishes, Pope Francis is expected to be buried at the Basilica of Saint Mary Major in Rome.

His passing has prompted an outpouring of tributes from world leaders, religious figures, and millions of faithful around the world, all of whom remember him for his humble approach to leadership and his unyielding commitment to justice.

A papal conclave, composed of approximately 135 cardinals, is expected to convene within 15 to 20 days to select Pope Francis’s successor.

The process, which follows the tradition of electing a new Pope, will be closely watched by Catholics and non-Catholics alike, as it will determine the future direction of the Catholic Church.
