The Chief of Dompim Pepesa, Ohyeawora Bian Nyowah Panyin IV who is a cousin of George Mireku Duker, a former Member of Parliament (MP) for Tarkwa-Nsuaem and leading his comeback campaign after losing miserably in the 2024 elections with almost 9,000 votes in the last elections has taken on his sub-chief on ‘political lines’
The crime of the chef is that he visited Mr Fiifi Boafo, former Communications Director of the COCOBOD during the Easter Holidays at his residence in Tarkwa in the company of other people.
He considers it as disloyalty and disrespect to him the chief since he the chief supports his cousin to seek reelection. This visit, alongside several residents of Dompim, has reportedly enraged the Dompim chief, who views the act as a potential signal of widespread support for Boafo’s political ambitions, even among other chiefs and residents of Dompim Pepesa—the hometown of former MP George Mireku Duker.
