Your promise was to fix galamsey, not cry about it

Member of Parliament for Afigya Kwabre North Constituency, Collins Adomako Mensah, has urged the Lands and Natural Resources Minister to ditch crying and fulfil his promise to the people of Ghana.
He says during the electioneering campaign, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) assured the people of Ghana of fixing the illegal mining menace, and therefore, they should focus on getting it fixed.

Adomako Mensah is of the view that weeping will not solve the problem, but rather pragmatic steps will.
In a post shared via social media, he cautioned politicians on their promises to win political power.

He said “Ghana my happy home. The minister is crying. Let us all keep him in our prayers. As politicians let us be mindful of the promises we give to win votes. We were told the mess will be fixed. Why cry. Fix it sir”.
