Raymond Archer appointed acting EOCO boss

Ace investigative journalist Raymond Archer has been appointed as the Acting Executive Director of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).
His appointment follows the reassignment of the outgoing director, Abdulai Bashiru Dapilah, to the National Security Secretariat.
Archer, renowned for his incisive investigative work and years of experience uncovering financial and institutional corruption, steps into the role at a time when public demand for accountability and transparency is high.
His appointment has already sparked interest and debate among stakeholders, with many seeing it as a bold move that could redefine the direction of EOCO, an agency mandated to investigate and prosecute economic and organized crime in Ghana.
However, expectations are high that he will bring his trademark investigative rigor to the office and push forward key reforms to strengthen the fight against financial crime.
