President of policy think tank IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe, has said that members of the New Patriotic Party who did not vote in 2024 were observing political distancing.
He says the government had become a dangerous virus.
“They were observing political distancing as the government had become a dangerous virus. Good morning my man, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia,” he said in a Facebook post.
His comments come after Dr Mahamudu Bawumia disclosed that 2.1 million of their members did not come out to vote.
To Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP can only come back to power if the party unites its base.
He believes that the NPP caused their own downfall and will rise again in the 2028 elections.
