Vice presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party in the 2024 elections, Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh, has urged party folks to resist any attempt to sow any form of discord in the party.
According to him, the strength of the political party lies in its unity, indicating that united they can succeed, but divided they will fail.
Napo, as he is affectionately called, made this call when he visited Chairmen of the political party in the Ahafo Region over the weekend.
He used the opportunity to express his gratitude for their support throughout the campaign period.
Napo said “Later in the day on Thursday April 24, I met with the NPP Regional Chairman for the Ahafo region together with his Chairmen in Bechem to personally express my gratitude for their leadership and continued support in the wake of our challenges.
During our discussions, I highlighted the critical need for unity as we prepare for the 2028 elections.
I called on the Chairmen to take a leading role in fostering unity within our party and to resist any attempts to sow discord. Our strength lies in our unity—united we can succeed, divided we will fail.
I reaffirmed my total commitment to every effort aimed at rebuilding and uniting the NPP, with the goal of recapturing power in 2028″.
