Annie Macaulay steps boldly into media, teases upcoming series on Annie Macaulay TV

Annie Macaulay is stepping into a new era, both personally and professionally.
While navigating her separation from Nigerian music icon Innocent “2Baba” Idibia, the Nollywood actress and reality star is also building a fresh legacy with the launch of her own online television platform, Annie Macaulay TV.
Speaking at the 17th Headies Awards held on April 28, 2025, Annie shared her exciting plans during an interview with BBC Pidgin.
She revealed that preparations for her new media venture are already in motion, with a brand-new series ready to debut soon.
“Right now I’m working on my own TV station, my own online TV, Annie Macaulay TV. I want everyone to be ready for different things. We’ve already done a series which will soon air on Annie Macaulay TV, very soon,” she enthusiastically announced.
Touching on her personal life, Annie spoke with pride about her family’s strength during this period of transition.
“My children dey kampe, my family dey kampe. My first daughter is abroad studying, don’t play with her o, don’t play with my kids, they are my backbone,” she said with heartfelt affection.
Annie also drew attention at the awards ceremony when she delivered an empowering shoutout to single women, a moment that quickly captured online buzz and sparked vibrant discussions across social media.
Meanwhile, 2Baba has been making headlines of his own, publicly reconciling with his mother, Rose Idibia, after a period of reported family tensions.
Despite their separate journeys, both Annie and 2Baba appear to be embracing fresh starts — each finding new strength in their personal growth and professional pursuits.
