At least three people have been confirmed dead and eight others injured following a fatal road accident involving a private vehicle and a white Ford Transit minibus with registration number AS 1235-15.
The crash occurred off the Bibiani Road between Kwanfifi and Betinko in the Ashanti Region.
Eyewitnesses described the scene as gory, with mangled vehicles and victims trapped in the wreckage. Emergency responders rushed to the scene to assist with rescue efforts and transport the injured to nearby health facilities for treatment.
Authorities have not yet disclosed the cause of the accident, but investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances leading to the crash.
The bodies of the deceased have reportedly been deposited at a local morgue.
