We need that information to guide us – Osei-Owusu on NPP’s post-election report

Senior member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and former Bekwai Member of Parliament, Joseph Osei-Owusu, has clarified that the party’s post-election report is strictly an internal document, not intended for public circulation.
Speaking on Citi FM’s Eyewitness News, Osei-Owusu explained that the report has already been thoroughly shared with the party’s leadership and is being used to guide the NPP’s future direction. “The national council of the party has been fully briefed.
The report has been fully disseminated to members of the national council. The national council represents the entire leadership of the party,” he stated.
He stressed that the purpose of the report is to enable the party to reflect and reorganise, rather than to satisfy public curiosity.
“It is not intended to inform the public, it is intended to guide us in preparing ourselves [going forward],” Osei-Owusu said.
Addressing speculations and calls for the document’s release, he appeared unfazed. “So let the rumours go around, let the misinformation fly — we will respond… where necessary — but for now, we need that information to guide us to reorganise ourselves and to relaunch our party,” he affirmed.
