Nigerian music mogul and Mavin Records founder, Don Jazzy, has once again warmed hearts online after gifting a total of ₦6 million to a fan who tagged him in a social media post.
The unexpected gesture began on X (formerly Twitter) when a user, @PopoolaJoke4, joined a trending post urging people to tag celebrities who could “bless them” with ₦1 million. She tagged Don Jazzy, likely with little expectation of a response.
To her surprise, the award-winning producer responded by crediting her account with ₦1 million. In an emotional post, she shared a screenshot of the transaction and expressed her heartfelt appreciation.
“Jesuuuuuusssssssss, this is huge. Thank you so much for your incredible generosity @DONJAZZY. Receiving 1 million naira is beyond anything I expected. Your support means the world to me,” she wrote.
However, Don Jazzy didn’t stop there. After noting that the fan’s account balance before the credit was just ₦67, he decided to increase the amount by another ₦5 million, bringing the total to ₦6 million.
“Amen ooo. That your Akant balance is not healthy. I don add another 5 million. More blessings ma,” Don Jazzy replied.
Overwhelmed, the beneficiary shared another message of gratitude filled with prayers and appreciation.
“Oluwa oo. I am deeply grateful for this extraordinary blessing. May the Almighty who used you to lift me up reward you beyond measure. Thank you @DONJAZZY.”
