Don’t burn bridges just because you support Ken Agyapong or Bawumia

A former member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Stephen Atubiga has urged followers of Kennedy Agyapong and Dr Bawumia to exercise restraint in their handling of issues.
He believes that they should not burn bridges just because they follow any of the candidates.
Atubiga holds this view because he believes in politics, everything is possible.
Making this position known in a post shared via social media, he said “Bawumia and Kennedy supporters should know in politics, these two may end up as a candidate and a vice. Making you all look stupid. Nobody should die in politics“.
The contest for the flagbearership in the New Patriotic Party has become heated as Kennedy Agyapong has declared his intent to contest for the position.
Although the party is yet to announce a date for the contest, there is the belief that it may be held ahead of all other internal elections, considering the various constitutional amendment proposals being put forward.
Social media has been awash with messages from both camps pushing their candidates for the leadership role after Bawumia failed to make history by breaking the eight in the 2024 elections.
