Kanye West sends cease and desist to Kim Kardashian over kids, but it turns out to be a hoax

Kanye West has reportedly taken a bold step in his ongoing co-parenting saga with Kim Kardashian, sending a cease and desist letter regarding their children.

The letter, which generated significant media buzz, accused Kardashian of violating their joint custody arrangement by using their kids for personal gain and allegedly limiting West’s access to them.

The cease and desist demanded that Kardashian cease posting images of their 11-year-old daughter, North, on TikTok and cease any further actions that might put their children at risk.

The letter also made claims that North was left unattended in a car during the 2025 Met Gala, an accusation that added fuel to the already tense public feud between the former couple.

Additionally, it was reported that West has been denied access to their children, stating that he hasn’t seen his son Saint this year.

However, a closer look at the story quickly revealed that the cease and desist letter was a hoax.

West’s representative confirmed that the letter was fraudulent, and the singer’s team took to social media to denounce the story as false. TMZ, who originally reported the incident, later amended their article, acknowledging that they had fallen for a fabricated claim.

In response, sources close to Kim Kardashian dismissed the allegations, emphasizing that she has never restricted Kanye’s access to their children.

They explained that West rarely requests to see them, and when he does, he is granted the time he asks for.
