Mahama’s reset will be taken seriously if Sammy Gyamfi is sacked

Former morning show host Nana Ama Agyemang has indicated that for Ghanaians to take John Dramani Mahama’s claim of a reset seriously, there will be a need for Sammy Gyamfi to be made an example.

Sammy Gyamfi has come under immense criticism after a video of him doling out dollar bills to Nana Agradaa went viral.

The Gold Board Acting Chief Executive has since apologized for the action, indicating that he was just helping a woman who was in need.

His action comes days after the president launched the code of conduct for his appointees.

But in a tweet reacting to the video, Nana Ama Agyemang indicated that this is a test of the reset highly preached by the John Dramani Mahama administration.

To her, it’s only when Sammy Gyamfi is sacked from the government that the reset agenda will be taken seriously.

“Can someone call me as soon as@GhanaPresidency releases a statement, not just condemning Sammy Gyamfi’s actions but also outlining real, tangible sanctions that we, the people, can follow? If they’re serious about resetting, I expect JM to fire him,” she said in a tweet.
