If you think any of our members have done any wrong, take them to court —Kodua dares gov’t

General Secretary for the largest opposition political party in Ghana, New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Kodua, has challenged the government to take appointees of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo who have caused financial loss to the state to court.

According to him, the intimidation and persecution is a clear indication that they have nothing to prosecute according to the law.

So if they believe they have concrete evidence on these matters, they should rather take their people to the court and not intimidate them with arrests.

Justin Kodua spoke after the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, was released from EOCO on Monday, June 2, 2025.

He said, “If they know they have a case, they should take our people to court and stop the intimidation. They should go to court so that we can prove to them that we have the lawyers to mount any form of defense. If they say Wontumi has done something wrong, take him to court.”
