It’s time OSP freezes Ken Ofori-Atta’s assets

Youth Advocate Oliver Barker-Vormawor is of the view that it is time the office of the special prosecutor freezes the assets of Ken Ofori-Atta.
His comments come on the back of the failure of the former finance minister to appear before the OSP, even though he was given a June 2 deadline.
The OSP has since announced that Ken Ofori-Atta is currently wanted and a fugitive from justice.
But Oliver Barker-Vormawor wants other stringent measures to be taken to force Ken Ofori-Atta back into the country.
He is of the view that steps must be taken to freeze the assets of the former finance Minister and extradition processes started as soon as possible.
Making this known in a post shared via social media, he said “If the OSP does not immediately commence extradition proceedings against Ken Ofori-Atta. If he doesn’t seek the freeze and seizure of Ken’s assets. Then he the OSP is our entire problem. This one is on him”.
