The account office of the Korle Bu Medical School has been ravaged by fire.
Other offices, including the laboratory, the administration block, and the school’s Archives, have also suffered a similar fate.
This happened on the dawn of June 18, 2025.
Four (4) fire tenders from the Greater Accra Regional Headquarters, Accra City, National Headquarters, and Ministries Fire Stations were at the scene to work tirelessly to prevent the fire from spreading further.
Although the cause of the fire is not yet known, firefighters have brought the fire under control.
A post shared by the Ghana Fire Service via social media suggests that the fire has been brought under control, and no casualties were recorded.
Currently, the Ghana Fire Service is overhauling to completely contain the blaze.
