To wrestle power in 2028, NPP needs to be strong and disciplined

Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central, Patrick Yaw Boamah holds the view that the New Patriotic Party currently needs a strong party.

According to him, for the party to regain power from the Ghanaian people, it will have to be well organized and disciplined.

To the legislator, the party should not just be looking for a flagbearer but rather should make their home better to be able to win the presidential election in 2028.

His comments come on the back of the current developments within the party after the NEC meeting, which proposed that the party will go to the polls to elect a flagbearer on January 31, 2026.

Making his position known in a post shared via social media, the Okaikwei Central Member of Parliament said “The New Patriotic Party (NPP) needs a strong party, well organized and disciplined to produce a President not just a Flagbearer”.
