Don’t blame NPP’s defeat on innocent national executives—Franklin Cudjoe

President of IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe has condemned persons who are blaming the National Executives of the New Patriotic Party for the party’s shambolic showing in the 2024 elections.
According to him, the blame must not be placed at the doorstep of the executives of the political party.
He could not fathom what they expected from the executives of the political party when the government was shambolic and subjected the people of Ghana to unwarranted hardship during their tenure.
Franklin Cudjoe argues that the blame must be placed on the government that failed woefully to meet the needs and demands of the people.
“My brother leave your executives alone wai. How were you expecting them to convince millions of disappointed, disrespected and economically robbed Ghanaians by the government to vote for it? Assuming of course that the party executives themselves were insulated against the deep mutating mess.”
There have been calls within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the party’s executives to be removed.
The argument has been that they failed the party by not calling out the government when it was failing the people.
