It’s only a joker who will say he doesn’t know the cause of NPP’s humiliating defeat—Franklin Cudjoe
President of Policy Think Tank, IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe thinks it is a joke for anyone in the New Patriotic Party to say he/she don’t know what caused their 2024 electoral defeat.
Kennedy Agyapong, while addressing the 2025 conference of chairmen of the New Patriotic Party, was emphatic that he is not aware of what caused the defeat of the political party in the 2024 elections.
He explained how imperative it was for stakeholders to be granted access to the Mike Ocquaye committee report to ascertain the cause of the NPP’s defeat and ensure that issues are addressed before a new flagbearer is chosen for the party.
But in a Facebook post, Franklin Cudjoe was shocked by the claims by the former legislator.
He argued that everyone on earth and in Ghana is aware of why the New Patriotic Party (NPP) was booted out by the people of Ghana.
“I get the first question! A very good question. I wonder why many in the NPP still believe the joke that they don’t know why they were bludgeoned to near obliteration last December. Sigh”
