Ghanaians are over-pampering the NDC gov’t

Former Chief Executive Officer of NEIP, Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, is of the view that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is enjoying too much goodwill from the people of Ghana.

He says the country is overly favouring the governing political party, and that needs to be addressed.

Kofi Ofosu made this known in a post shared via social media while reacting to calls for the chairperson of the Electoral Commission to be sacked by the chairman of the governing political party, Asiedu Nketia.

He backs the view that the governing party may have charmed Ghanaians, as they do not see any wrong in the actions of the NDC government so far.

His post shared via social media read “Ghanaians have pampered yaanom saa now their Chairman can openly ask for the dismissal of EC commissioners, not even secretly ooo. Dennis Miracles Aboagye come for your stone na it’s like yaanom have charmed Ghanaians”.

Background

Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Asiedu Nketia has called for the dismissal of the leadership of the current Electoral Commission.

He holds the view that their management of the body has been poor and therefore does not deserve to be maintained.

Asiedu Nketia cites the issues with SALL, Ablekuma North, among others, as justification for their removal.
