Prolific Liverpool striker Diogo Jota has been confirmed dead at the age of 28.
Diogo Jota died in a car accident near Zamora, in northwestern Spain. Reports indicate he was on his way to Portugal after he was allegedly told he couldn’t travel by flight.
The tyre of his Lamborghini burst which resulted in a summersault. The car caught fire.
Diogo Jota was with his only brother Andre Silva who also died due to impact.
