Richard Nii Armarh Quaye launches GH₵300M fund for Ghanaian entrepreneurs

Ghanaian billionaire and business mogul Richard Nii Armarh Quaye has unveiled a bold new initiative aimed at accelerating the growth of promising Ghanaian businesses.

Quaye is now spearheading the Scale-Up Fund, a GH₵300 million investment vehicle designed to support the next generation of high-potential entrepreneurs.

Targeting entrepreneurs between the ages of 20 and 45, the Scale-Up Fund is open to businesses that are already operational but need the financial injection, strategic direction, and long-term backing to grow significantly.

This initiative is not limited to a specific sector; instead, it focuses on scalability and innovation—qualities Quaye has consistently championed throughout his career.

Set to roll out fully in October 2025, the program will offer selected entrepreneurs a rare opportunity to pitch their businesses directly to Richard Nii Armarh Quaye himself.

These pitch sessions are expected to go beyond funding, offering access to mentorship and strategic partnerships that have become synonymous with Quaye’s investment style.

Speaking about the initiative, Quaye emphasized the importance of nurturing businesses that have the potential to impact Ghana’s economy meaningfully.

“This is for any business that is promising and scalable. The opportunity is real. The time is now,” he said.

The Scale-Up Fund is backed by RNAQ Holdings, Quaye’s investment and holding company, in partnership with Quick Angels, further underscoring the credibility and scale of the initiative.

It is set to become one of the largest private-sector investment programs in Ghana dedicated to supporting small and medium-sized enterprises.
