President Mahama names last batch of deputies

President John Dramani Mahama has submitted the final batch of his deputy ministerial nominees to Parliament for approval.

In a statement issued on July 9, 2025, and signed by the Minister for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Presidency said the nominations were made in accordance with Articles 78(1) and 79(1) of the 1992 Constitution.

The latest list features four Members of Parliament nominated to serve in key ministries. These appointments are expected to complement the President’s ministerial team as his administration continues to settle into its mandate.

The names have been submitted through the Speaker of Parliament for consideration and prior approval.

This brings to a close the President’s full list of deputy ministerial appointments for his new government.
