The Ghana Police Service has arrested three persons in connection with an armed robbery at Nyanikrom near Shama Junction.
A statement from the service said the three robbed some officials of a company which is based in Nyanikrom of an amount of One Hundred and Forty Nine Thoudand Five Hundred which were meant to pay salaries of workers of the company.
However, the police had mounted surveillance in the area and moved in swiftly to arrest the armed robbers.
The three armed robbers are currently in police custody while the company’s driver Maxwell Kofi Yeboah who conspired with the robbers is currently at large.
