The NDC can’t handle a dose of their own medicine – Dennis Aboagye

Dennis Miracles Aboagye has taken a swipe at the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), accusing them of hypocrisy over what he describes as a quiet implementation of a policy document they once mocked.

The former Presidential Staffer and current spokesperson for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia claimed that the NDC, who previously criticized the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) “Agyapadeɛ” policy vision, are now revisiting and actively pursuing their own controversial “Onuapayɛ” document.

“The originators and authors of the fake and concocted Agyapadeɛ book are back in town and this time actively implementing the original ONUAPAYƐ document,” he wrote on Facebook.

He further criticized the ruling government for not being able to handle scrutiny in the same way they dished it out during the 2024 campaign season.

“As we point out to them, they cry, they scream, they threaten and they shout fire and brimstone. Alas! They cannot take a small dose of the same medicine they administered barely 200 days ago,” Aboagye noted.

He suggested that the current developments will vindicate former President Akufo-Addo, whose administration faced sharp criticism over the “Agyapadeɛ” vision.

“Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s vindication is almost here,” he added.

Referencing scripture to underscore his message, Aboagye quoted Proverbs 26:27 –

“Whoever digs a pit will fall into it; if someone rolls a stone, it will roll back on them,” and Matthew 7:2 – “For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

He concluded by urging the NDC to learn from this experience and avoid what he views as political inconsistency.

“Hopefully, this serves as a lesson to the NDC and they never go on this route ever again.”
