This marks a major step forward in our mission to return the Party to power in 2028—Bawumia on Delegates Conference

Former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has explained that the decisions taken at the National Delegates Conference of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) are a major step for the party’s return to power in 2028.

According to him, the party has demonstrated its resilience even in challenging times as they came together to reform the political party.

In a post thanking delegates for their time and service to the New Patriotic Party, the former vice President said, “Today, the New Patriotic Party (NPP: Development in Freedom) once again demonstrated our resilience, even in challenging times. As part of our rebuilding efforts, the National Delegates Conference held at the University of Ghana provided a vital opportunity to make significant amendments to our constitution.

This marks a major step forward in our mission to return the Party to power in 2028.

I am deeply grateful to all the delegates and the rank and file of the Party for their dedicated participation. As our delegates journey back home, I pray for safe travels and wish all patriots a restful and fulfilling weekend.
