A spiritual message shared by Bernard ElBernard Nelson-Eshun, a prominent Ghanaian preacher and prophet, has revealed that businessman and politician Kennedy Ohene Agyapong will become the next flagbearer of the NPP.
The vision, he said, occurred on the evening of July 20th, 2025. It was presented to him as a symbolic journey of two men traveling toward the same destination each on different paths. One man, accompanied by a large convoy in a sleek, golden vehicle, is described as moving swiftly on a smooth and impressive road. The other, alone in a dusty and aged car, travels a rough and winding route at half the speed.
In the end, the man in the old, unimpressive car arrives safely at the destination, while the grand convoy perished in a ditch.
According to Prophet Nelson-Eshun, a voice from the heavens revealed that the lone driver was none other than Kennedy Agyapong.
The vision was further interpreted by an angelic figure as a sign that Agyapong, despite lacking the endorsements and fanfare of others, is divinely chosen to lead.
“What you have seen is a shadow of things to come,” the vision relayed. “Kennedy Agyapong shall become the flagbearer of his party. His path may seem slow and unglamorous, but it is ordained.”
The vision goes on to warn that those who rely on numbers, influence, and appearance will ultimately fall, having “trusted in flesh and not in the counsel of the Lord.”
