GACL terminates revenue assurance audit agreement with Evatex logistics

The Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) has formally terminated its Revenue Assurance Audit agreement with Evatex Logistics Limited.
In a letter dated 28th July 2025, addressed to the Chief Executive Officer of Evatex, Mr. Evans Adusei, the GACL conveyed its decision to end the agreement, which was originally signed on 4th December 2024.
The termination takes effect on 27th August 2025. According to the letter signed by GACL Managing Director, Mrs. Yvonne Nana Afriyie Opare, the agreement allows either party to terminate the contract “without cause” by providing one month’s written notice—an option the GACL has now exercised.
“You are therefore required to use this notice period to demobilize and leave the premises of Kotoka International Airport on or before the 27th of August 2025,” the notice directed.
While the letter did not disclose specific reasons for the termination, the GACL expressed gratitude for Evatex’s services over the past months and wished the company well in its future endeavors.
Copies of the letter were also sent to the Group Executives for Commercial Services and Finance, as well as the Director of Legal Services at GACL.
