Ken Agyapong Explains Why He Chooses Not to Criticize this NDC Government

Former Assin Central Member of Parliament Kennedy Agyapong has decided to be silent on happenings in the current government.

He noted that he has identified several shortfalls in the government; however, he will not speak out.

The maverick politician explains that if he does, his people will use his words against him and tag him as not being presidential material.

To maintain his image and integrity, he intends to remain silent on the current government’s happenings.

The former legislator was speaking to Accra-based Pan African Television in an interview when he made this known.

“During the campaign, they wrote ten sins of Kennedy Agyapong. That is why I apologized to President Mahama because he has been very nice to me; he loves me and everything, his wife…Because of the party, I ignored this relationship and criticized him. I have to be honest, I was harsh.

Only for me to come out…When I was criticizing NDC, my party was happy, but when I decided to contest, that was the time that they used all the things against me. All the things that I used to defend NDC became a sin, and they circled it around the ten sins of Kennedy Agyapong.

In the bible, they have ten commandments, and since Abraham’s time, they’ve not added one to make it eleven, so ten sins of Kennedy Agyapong, and I will not go and say anything for you to add my eleven sins or twelve sins,” he said.

He continued, “In campaigning, like what is going on, I can say a few things about mistakes NDC is making, but now I’m not going to say it. Country broke, country no broke, we all dey inside.”
