How Paul Adom-Otchere was welcomed home after his detention

Broadcast journalist Paul Adom-Otchere has released a video of how he was welcomed home by his family.
In the video, he was seen having a hearty conversation with his family about the incident and how he received support from several quarters.
The family expressed their gratefulness to all persons who came through for them during his time at the OSP.
Paul Adom Otchere has decided he will not comment on the issue after he was released.
A statement announcing his release from the OSP said, “The revised terms, which meet the objectives of the original bail conditions, have been secured by the Jospong Group of Companies.”
The OSP further indicated that the issue is still under investigation.
Background
The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) interviewed and formally charged the former Board Chairman of the Ghana Airports Company Limited, Paul Adom-Otchere and two others.
However, Mr Adom-Otchere was unable to meet his bail conditions.
He was required to present two landed properties (of no specific value) registered in his name.
However, he informed the OSP that he does not own landed property in Ghana. As a result, he remained in custody until the bail terms were satisfied.
Mr Adom-Otchere is under investigation in connection with a revenue assurance contract between the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) and a private firm owned by the proprietor of Strategic Mobilisation Ghana Ltd (SML).
The OSP is examining possible procurement breaches, including a sole-sourced contract awarded to a company other than the one approved by the GACL Board.
