Majority in Parliament mourns helicopter crash victims

The Majority Caucus in Parliament has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic military helicopter crash that occurred on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, in the Adansi Akrofuom District of the Ashanti Region.

In a statement signed by Majority Leader Hon. Mahama Ayariga, the Caucus extended heartfelt condolences to the families, colleagues, and loved ones of the victims, describing the incident as a devastating blow to Parliament, Government, the Armed Forces, and the entire nation.

Hon. Ayariga noted that those lost in the crash dedicated their lives to the service of Ghana, and their legacy of patriotism and commitment to duty will not be forgotten.

“Their untimely and tragic demise is a devastating blow… Their sacrifice, patriotism, and commitment to duty will forever be etched in the history of our Republic,” the statement read.

The Majority Caucus stands in solidarity with President Mahama, the government, and the people of Ghana in mourning this national tragedy.
