Mahama has delivered 10 fully-furnished churches to Assemblies of God

The President has fulfilled a campaign promise made in November 2024 by constructing and handing over ten fully-furnished church buildings to the Assemblies of God in northern Ghana.
According to Fuseini Donkor, who spoke during an interaction with TV3 presenters on the New Day program monitored by MyNewsGh, the commitment was made during a campaign stop in Navrongo, where the President pledged to build churches for the denomination. Remarkably, the project was completed in just six months.
The ten churches, spread across the five regions of northern Ghana, come with accommodation facilities for pastors, fully equipped kitchens, and musical instruments.
Fuseini noted that the buildings are ready for immediate use, with furnishings in place to make the transition smooth for church leaders and their families.
“This is not just about putting up buildings,” Fuseini said. “Everything has been done — from the instruments to the kitchens — so that all the pastors and their families have to do is move in.”
The Assemblies of God is expected to operate the branches, with the facilities serving both as places of worship and as homes for church leaders.
