Ghana has recorded 18 new Mpox cases, according to the Ghana Health Service.
From the update provided, the country has now recorded 346 cases.
Out of the 346 cases recorded, only 1 death has been recorded.

Mpox update as at 7th August 2025
18 new confirmed cases have been recorded, bringing the total number of cases to 346.
Mpox spreads mainly through close contact with someone who has the infection.
Prevention of Mpox:
• Avoid close contact with anyone showing symptoms of Mpox.
• Wash hands regularly with soap under running water.
• Wear a mask if caring for someone who is sick.
• Avoid contact with animals that could carry the virus.
Seek medical attention if you notice symptoms like rash, fever, or swollen lymph nodes.
